The past few decades have seen a very rapid rise in the number of plant and animal scientists using the techniques of cell, tissue, organ culture for plant and animal improvement for human welfare. Rapid developments in Life science research promise significant health improvements including molecular based drugs and vaccines to control variety of infectious and genetic diseases. Gene therapy to treat immune and age related diseases and enhance non disease traits. Genomic based applications could eradicate many common and untreatable diseases, improve the quality of human health and extend life expectancy and enhance human physical and cognitive capabilities. One of the major objectives of Life science research is Genetic engineering. Genetic modification could produce transgenic crops with enhanced nutritional value, pesticide and herbicide resistance and extended shelf storage and crops that can grow faster and tolerate harsh environments. Other possibilities include plant derived vaccines and farm animals that have been genetically engineered to resist disease, enhance production and produce human proteins to treat diseases. The future of Life science research seems to be very strong and bright. Scientists have come to believe that Life sciences and their fields are a boon for human society and it has the great potential to solve many of the issues and that in future we are going to enjoy to many things from life science Research. The main objective of the seminar is to look at Current Status and Future Prospects in Life Science Research. This seminar to analyze Present trends,, Possibilities, Opportunities and Developments in various branches of life science research. It also great plat form for all life science researchers for discussing future potentials and Prospects of all fields of life science research. For this we organize a two-day National Seminar on the theme of “Current Status and Future Prospects in Life science Research:” with the following objectives.

This seminar will bring researchers, academicians and industry experts on a common national platform to exchange knowledge, experience and research innovations for the betterment of human life The objectives of this seminar are to provide an interdisciplinary forum for delegates engaged in the full spectrum of research, development, application and to discuss the recent developments and future prospects in Life Sciences and their allied fields In addition, the Seminar will provide excellent opportunities to review the recent development and technological applications covering wide range of topics.
